Desert Rain Herbal Oil
If you’ve ever been to the low desert after it rains, there is a very unique scent that permeates the air. It is this incredible being…Chaparral. Some call it creosote, but I love her spanish name, La Gobernadora, which translates to “the governess". An extremely earthy scent with a little bit of musk, a scent that signifies purification and nourishment has come to the lands.
Wild-crafted Chaparral infused in organic jojoba oil. Desert Rain Oil can be used:
As a light moisturizer
As a face cleanser
To treat sunburn
As a therapeutic massage oil
For bug bites
For wounds/rashes/burns and fungal infections
To elevate your senses and mood
In a hot bath
For hair/scalp health
Chaparral has the ability to restore the integrity of the skin-barrier and is useful for eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, acne, dandruff, dermatitis and pretty much any skin inflammation. Chaparral has antifungal, antitumor, antinflammatory and antibacterial qualities and is my go-to for any skin imbalance!
Properties
Chaparral has antifungal, antitumor, antinflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties, which makes it an incredible skin ally. Native peoples have used this plant for thousands of years due to its potent healing properties.
Jojoba Oil acts much like our skins natural oils. It helps to deeply moisturize, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, promote healthy glow, nourish and protect skin with Vitamin E and B, antioxidants and minerals like chromium, copper and zinc, reduce peeling and chaffing and prevents bacterial buildup to prevent acne.
