Cha Dao, the way of tea, is an ancient lineage honoring the leaf of tea (Camellia sinensis). Tea as a way, tea as a mode of being. All that is required during this ceremony is your presence and awareness of the present moment. Through this practice, one finds stillness and a moment to reflect, something our current overstimulated world has lost. Tea is a simple practice that cultivates a deeper connection to nature, allowing you to revel in its ancient wisdom. The tea used in ceremony comes from old-growth tea forests in the valleys and mountains of Yunnan, China and Taiwan. These ancient trees have grown from seed in their natural environment with no chemicals, pesticides or fertilizers. The wisdom to be obtained from their ancient past reveals itself in every bowl of tea. Every leaf offers a new journey for one to experience. Through this practice, one will connect with the Elemental Spirits of water, earth, air and fire. Deep remembrance of our ability to connect with each of these kingdoms slowly emerges from the depths within our multidimensional selves. This ceremony includes a one-hour traditional tea ceremony and time to reflect upon its completion. May this ceremony provide you with a willingness to commune and connect with yourself, others and the beautiful nature we are a part of, not separate from These ceremonies are to be held at the location of your choosing. May choose an indoor or outdoor location that is quiet.
